Job Coach Assistant

Support adults with Down syndrome in workplace settings as they learn and succeed in their jobs.

6-10 hours per week, flexible scheduling
Partner workplaces and community enterprises in Liberia

About This Role

Job Coach Assistants work alongside our professional job coaches to support employees with Down syndrome during their initial training period and ongoing employment. You'll help reinforce skills, provide encouragement, and ensure a positive work experience for both the employee and employer.

Responsibilities

  • Support job trainees at workplace sites
  • Reinforce job skills learned in training
  • Model workplace professionalism
  • Document trainee progress
  • Communicate with job coach and employers
  • Gradually fade support as independence grows

Requirements

  • Age 21 or older
  • Work experience in any field
  • Patient, encouraging demeanor
  • Strong communication skills
  • Reliable transportation
  • Flexible schedule including some mornings
